About Us
Regent Early Learning Centre is a Christ-centred early childhood program dedicated to nurturing the hearts and minds of young children.
We believe each child is created by God with unique gifts, purpose and potential. Our role is to provide a safe, joyful and caring environment where children can grow, explore and shine.
Who We Are
We serve families at two Surrey campuses in Sullivan and Cloverdale. Both locations are situated within Regent Christian Academy, giving our learners a warm school-like experience that includes classrooms, shared spaces, chapel, music, library visits and outdoor learning. Rooted in Christian values and welcoming to all families, we support the whole child spiritually, emotionally, socially, cognitively and physically.
Our Vision
Our vision is for every child to know they are loved by God, to grow in confidence and character, and to see themselves as capable, creative learners who can make a difference in God’s world.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high-quality, Christ-centred early learning that nurtures each child’s spiritual, emotional, social and intellectual development through play, relationship and meaningful experiences.
Our Core Values
At Regent Early Learning Centre we seek to grow:
Confident explorers who try new things, take healthy risks and see challenges as opportunities to learn.
Considerate friends who show kindness, empathy and respect in their words and actions.
Curious minds who ask questions, wonder about God’s world and delight in discovery.
Annual Spiritual Theme
Each year we anchor our learning in a spiritual theme drawn from Scripture. This year’s theme is based on Romans 12:5, reminding us that we are one body in Christ, and that each child and each family has a valued place in our community.
Educational Philosophy
Our approach is play-based, relational and faith-rooted. We believe young children learn best through hands-on exploration, imaginative play and strong relationships with caring adults. In every classroom we plan experiences that support the whole child:
Spiritual – helping children know they are loved by God and invited into His story
Emotional – building resilience, self-regulation and a sense of security
Social – practising kindness, sharing, cooperation and peacemaking
Cognitive – fostering curiosity, problem solving, early literacy and numeracy
Physical – supporting healthy bodies through movement, fine and gross motor development, and outdoor play
SHINE Philosophy
Our approach is shaped by S H I N E. These values guide how we teach, care for and nurture every child.
Share - Children learn to share God’s love, kindness and joy. They build friendships, empathy and a sense of community.
Honour - We honour God and one another by respecting every child’s uniqueness, strengths and learning style. We model honour in our words, choices and actions.
Inspire - We inspire creativity and curiosity through environments that invite exploration and joyful discovery.
Nurture - We nurture each child with warmth, patience and care. Children feel safe, seen, valued and supported.
Explore - We explore God’s world with wonder. Children learn through hands on experiences, outdoor play and meaningful activity.
